Cherokee was so sweet. I ran into her at Casey’s in Altamont this year. She asked if I remembered her and I said of course you are Cherokee. We went to grade school together and rode the same bus. She was a year younger than me in school. Left too young but maybe God had another plan for her. Prayers to the family and those she was close to.

Cherokee, from the day I got to meet you I loved you. You had this amazing personality about you. You were absolutely beautiful and smart with a dash of stubbornness. You knew what you wanted and you went for it. I know we had our falling out years ago but we were able to talk in recent years. I know it wasn't as much as I would have like but life as single moms always took over. You gave me a beautiful great niece and a handsome great nephew. Just know that they are in great hands, just as you were growing up. May God watch over you always and forever as you watch over your children from up above. May Grandpa Pyle give you big hugs. You may be gone but you will never be forgotten.
