Brian Dale Knisley, 51 of Texas, died Tuesday, Nov.27, 2018 in Big Spring, Texas
Mr. Knisley was born April 27, 1967, in Coffeyville to Gary Knisley and Linda (Carriker) Knisley He attended local schools.

Brian worked for the railroad most his life.

Mr.Knisley was involved in dirt track racing and would travel afar to participate or attend demolition derby as that was his true hobby.

Brian loved to travel back home to Coffeyville frequently to be with family as his grandchildren was the most precious gift to him.

Survivors include one son, Brian Knisley Jr. and wife Chelsey His grandchildren Danica and Brice. Of Coffeyville Kansas; Grandchildren Maquina Brooks and Chloe. His mother, Linda Knisley of Coffeyville. One brother, Shannon Knisley and wife Teresa of Joplin Mo. One sister, Ginger Waun and husband Jerry of Independence, Kansas, Tina Stevens close friend of their home in Texas, 6 Step children, Tressa , Nick, Brianna, Phillip, Johnathan and Kylie ,3 Neices,4 nephews and 2 great nephews and 1 great niece, several friends and family in and out of the derby and race community.

Proceeded in death by his Son Michael Knisley, Father Gary Knisley, Nephew Dakota Knisley, and both sets of grandparents.

Services will be at 2 pm Saturday Dec.15th, 2018 At the Emmanuel Chapel in South Coffeyville, Oklahoma, with burial following in Fairview Cemetery in Coffeyville. Friends may arrive at 1 pm to visit with family and friends before service. Race cars and Derby cars are welcome for one last lap at the cemetery as this was his final wish.     Brian we known each other all of our lives im so happy we got to see each other the weekend when you were here we did alot of catching up on our families had alot of great laughs talking about when we was younger you are missed and loved by so many of us RIL cousin

    All the time I have known Brian he always had that grin on his face like he was up to no good or about to say something smart, it was just the way he was. He was the type of guy that would be there to help you if you needed it and give you some advise even if you didnt ask for it. Brian was what a real true friend really was. He was always there helping my daughter, Amber, whenever she needed a helping hand and everytime I Thanked him he always told me there was no need to cause that's what friends were for but he thought more of her then just a friend to him she was family. Brian will always have a special place in Ambers heart and in mine and we will never forget him. Brian will be missed and loved by many. Race High and Lead the way Brian!! Wave that Checkered Flag with Pride!!

    Ive known Brian most of his life. I will always remember his big beautiful heart warming smile. His addressing me as sweety. My heart hurts for his Mom who is a dear family friend, & for Tina my niece, My thoughts and prayers are with you all.
