Alan L Tidwell known as Pepa to the grands and Curly to his friends of Tyro passed away on April 12, 2019 at Jane Phillips Medical Center in Bartlesville, OK.

Alan was born in Chetopa on November 13, 1953 to Lloyd and Zoe (Smith) Nading. He was brought up in Chetopa where he attend grade school and Chetopa High School. It was during high school he met and married Kathy Ryan the couple later divorced but not before being blessed with two children. He later married Doris Lawson and he gained three children. Doris preceded him in death in 2011. It was this same year that Alan met Cynthia Evans while working in the same maintenance department. After four years of courtship Alan and Cynthia were united in marriage, where he gained two sons, Ric and Curtis Shafer.

Alan had worked for Jensen's, Spears, AIW, and he was currently employed with Matcor. Alan loved everybody, he never spoke ill of another person, he never met a stranger, and he never told anyone no. Alan had the heart for service, he was the Day Capitan with the Tyro Volunteer Fire Department. He would give you the shirt off his back or the last dollar in his wallet, he was just that type of man. Alan was a member of the Western Way Cowboy Church in Altamont. Alan was most happy surrounding himself with his family and friends, riding Harleys and horses was an even seconded place.

Alan's memories will live on with his wife; Cynthia, mother Zoe Nading, sons; Brian Taylor his wife Dawn, Monte Campbell his wife Debbie, Ric Shafer, and Curtis Shafer daughters; Wanda Moore her husband Les, Cami Tippen her husband Eric, and Tina Weimer her husband Brian, his brother Wes Nading his wife Kasey, numerous grandchildren and great-grandchildren, many nieces and nephews.

Friends are invited to sign the register and greet the family on Monday, April 15, 2019 at Ford-Wulf-Bruns Chapel from 6:00 pm to 8:00 pm.
