Alzada Marie

Alzada Marie Clark, 92, died October 29, 2004 at Good Samaritan Village, Hutchinson. She was born April 8, 1912 at Edna, KS, the daughter of Clarence Augusta Annabelle Stevenson Kessler. A resident of Hutchinson, she spent most of her life in Coffeyville as a Homemaker. She was a member of the Dearing First Christian Church, Dearing,and attended First Christian Church, Caney She was a member of the 50-50 club, the Lets-B-Neighbors Club, and the Rebekah Lodge. On August 12, 1931 she married John Forrest Shorty Clark at Altamont. He died November 18, 1999. Survivors include a son Ronald E. his wife Marty, Hutchinson; two neices, Carolyn Wiseman, Parsons, Charlotte Burnett, Pittsburg; three nephews, Dwight Kessler, Altamont, Jim Argent, Coffeyville, Mike Clark, Halstead; four grandchildren, Vicki Reddy, Aztec, NM, Marc Clark, Farmington, NM, Mike Jennings, Wichita, Bill Jennings, Hutchinson and 6 great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by a son Gary Wayne, a brother Everett Kessler, and two sisters, Martha Triebel and Mable Decow. Visitation will be Sunday. 1 PM to 9 PM at Penwell-Gabel Funeral Home Crematory, Hutchinson. Visitation will be Monday, 1 PM to 8 PM at Penwell-Gabel Ford-Wolf-Bruns Chapel, Coffeyville. Funeral service will be Tuesday, 2 PM at Penwell-Gabel Ford-Wolf-Bruns Chapel, Coffeyville, with Reverend Brad Sanders presiding. Burial will be in Restlawn Cemetery, Coffeyville. Memorial contributions may be made to First Christian Church, Caney in care of the funeral home.
