Barbara Kathleen Patchett, age 87, of Coffeyville, KS passed away on April 10, 2016 at Windsor Place.

Barbara was born on October 7, 1928 at Cherryvale to Lawrence and Thelma (Thompson) Good. She attended school in Liberty and Field Kindley High School. After high school she met Virgil Patchett and the couple was united in marriage on November 10, 1945, they were married for 61 years until Virgil's passing in 2007. They were blessed with four children. Barbara worked for Emerson where she devoted over 20 years of service before retiring. Barbara was a genuine person that had a big heart. She enjoyed people and loved cooking for everyone. When her children were small you could guarantee the farmhouse would be full of their friends and Barbara caring for them all. Barbara was always polite and willing to help those in need.

Left to honor her memory is her children, Lawrence Patchett, Virgil Patchett Jr., Donald Patchett his wife Tammy, and Kathy Mathis, brother, Paul Good, sister, Carolyn Bybee, 11 grandchildren, 36 great-grandchildren, and 8 great-great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents, husband Virgil, 4 brothers, a sister, and a grandchild.

Funeral Services will be held on Friday April 15, 2016 at 11:00am at the First Assembly of God Church, with Pastor Randy DePriest officiating. Interment will follow at Spring Hill Cemetery. Friends are invited to sign the register on Thursday April 14, 2016 at Ford-Wulf-Bruns Chapel from 9:00am from 7:00pm with the family receiving friends from 5:00pm to 7:00pm.
