Beverly Ann (Dobbs) McKinley, age 80, of Coffeyville, KS passed to her heavenly home on June 12, 2025 in her home.
Beverly was born October 4, 1944 in Montevallo, MO to Martha and Kenneth Dobbs and was blessed with 12 siblings, Gary, Cotton, Sonny, Deanna, Rick, Doug, Dennis, Becky, Pat, Ann, Lisa, and Penny. Beverly was raised in El Dorado Springs, MO area where she later graduated high school in 1962.
She later married the love of her life Kenneth Woodrow McKinley Jr in El Dorado Springs, MO on October 24, 1964 and was blessed with 2 children Kimberly Ann (McKinley) Yeubanks and Kenneth Wayne McKinley and they made their home in rural Coffeyville, KS, where they owned and operated a small diner "K & B Drive Inn" in Dearing, KS for 12 years, Beverly enjoyed tormenting her regular customers.
They may not have had much by today's standards but they had each other, and through all the hard times, headaches and at times not so much money, they not only survived but thrived because of their LOVE for FAMILY! Family was so important to Beverly and Kenneth both and their door was always open to FAMILY and friends.
Beverly enjoyed spending time with the doors open. playing old country records while watching humming birds, reading romance novels, crafting, planting flowers, watching game, and true crime shows, going to auctions and flea markets, decorating for holidays and pranking anyone she could but most of all she enjoyed spending time with her grandchildren, great grandchildren and even great-great grandchildren who were the light of her life.
Beverly has left this world to be with her husband Kenneth who preceded her in death on June 3, 2001. She is also joining her parents Martha and Kenneth Dobbs, her mother-in-law Gay Hazelwood along with 4 siblings Dennis Dobbs, Gary Dobbs, Andrea Yoder, and Patricia Amick and several other family members.
Most of all her legacy and memory will live on through 8 siblings Cotton (Juva) Dobbs, Sonny (Brenda) Dobbs, Deanna Hada, Rick (Joy) Dobbs, Doug (Leita) Dobbs, Becky (Amor) Worthington, Lisa (Steve) Bryant, and Penny (Bruce) Deragowski, 1 sister-in-law Leesa Jo (Robert) Coulter, 2 children Kimberly McKinley-Yeubanks and Kenneth (Sherry) McKinley, 7 grandchildren Amy Yeubanks, Elizabeth (Dustin) Thurman, Floyd (Phichada)Yeubanks, Amber (Mark) McCleary, Layne (Hannah) McKibben, Shelly Sands-Lafferty, and Colton (Chelcie) Cantrell, 9 great-great grandchildren Ayden Yeubanks, Ava Lafferty, Shady Ryan, Addyson Thurman, Savier Ryan, Teagan Thurman, Ethan Sanders, Brooklyn McKibben and Deakon Cantrell and numerous nieces and nephews whom she loved dearly.
