CAROL LEE GARNER Age 60, of Coffeyville, Kansas died early Wednesday morning, July 28, 2004 at her home. Mrs. Garner was born April 4, 1944 in Coffeyville, Kansas to Ray and Ruth Hawkins Donaghe. As a child, she lived in the Kansas City area before returning to Coffeyville and graduating from Field Kindley Memorial High School in 1962. On August 24, 1962 she married John L. Garner in Coffeyville. Mrs. Garner was a surgery clerk at Coffeyville Regional Medical Center for 22 years. Her hobbies included board games, making crafts, playing cards and traveling on vacations. Mrs. Garner also enjoyed attending her grandchildrens sporting events. She was a member of First Baptist Church of South Coffeyville, Oklahoma. Mrs. Garner is survived by: Her husband, John, of the home Two daughters, Lori Armstrong and husband Randy, of Bartlesville, OK Paula Rodgers and husband Doug, of Bartlesville, OK One brother, Raymond Donaghe, of Wichita, KS Three sisters, Martha Coons twin and husband Delbert, of Coffeyville, KS Kathie McBeath and husband Robert, of Coffeyville, KS Sharon Shamblin and husband Jackie, of Tyro, KS Four grandchildren, Chelsey and Kylee Armstrong; Taylor and Kalyn Rodgers She is preceded in death by her parents. Funeral services will be 2 p.m., Friday, July 30, at Penwell-Gabel Ford-Wulf-Bruns Chapel with burial in Robbins Cemetery, west of Coffeyville. Pastor Mike Graham will officiate. Family will receive guests Thursday evening, 6:30 until 8 p.m. at the chapel. Friends may call Thursday, 3 until 8 p.m. and Friday, 9 a.m. until noon. Memorials may be given to CRMC Hospital Auxiliary or Harry Hynes Memorial Hospice and these gifts may be left at the funeral home.
