Carolyn Castro

Carolyn Sue Castro age 75 of South Coffeyville, Oklahoma was welcomed to her heavenly home by her Lord and savior on March 1, 2018 at her home where she was surrounded by her loved ones.

Carolyn was born on June 29, 1942 in Parsons, KS to Roy and Goldie (Wickham) Keeling. Carolyn met the love of her life, Rafael Castro and they were united in marriage on August 12, 1959. To this union the couple was blessed with three sons and two daughters. The family moved from station to station as Rafael proudly served our country in the United States Army. It was Carolyn that made each new place home, caring for all the demands of the household and making sure the children had everything they needed. She enjoyed taking the family camping, trips to the beach, and picnics. Carolyn was a reserved lady that was always made herself available to her friends and family. She will be remembered for her contagious smile and her altogether happy demeanor. She loved her children and once they had children her grandchildren became her pride and joy. Carolyn would spend hours playing Scrabble and other games with her grandchildren.

Carolyn's memories will live on with her sons, Tony Castro his wife Tori of Gooding, ID, and William Castro his wife Terry of Bartlesville, OK, daughters Susie Castro of Coffeyville, and Laura Campbell her significant other Ron Nielsen of Coffeyville, brother Leonard Keeling his wife Pat of Cherryvale, KS, sisters, Patricia Wright and Shirley Keeling both of Coffeyville, KS, grandchildren, Christy Vierra, Nicholas Castro, Matthew Stevenson, Dalton Babb, Kayla Juby, Brandi Campbell, Justin Remington, Leann Sporin, Logan Nielsen, and Kenda Nielsen, great-grandchildren, Abbi Vierra, Anthony Vierra, Eathan Rosson Mercedes Rosson, Nicholas Castro, Zane Stevenson, Matthew Stevenson, Levi Stevenson, and Hazel Sporin.
