Cora Stine

Cora Lee Stine Age 94, of South Coffeyville, Oklahoma died Tuesday evening, January 18, 2005 at Coffeyville Regional Medical Center. Cora Lee Stine was born on August 23, 1910, in Bartlett, Kansas to Ernest and Maggie Temple. She graduated high school in Edna, Kansas and attended barber school in Wichita, Kansas. She was married to John Raymond Stine on February 6, 1929, in Wichita, Kansas. Mrs. Stine was a barber for many years in the downtown Coffeyville area and loved to fish. She was a member of the First Baptist Church in Coffeyville, Kansas. She is survived by: several nephews and nieces. Mrs. Stine is preceded in death by her parents; husband and two sisters, Avota Hoppock and Zelma Sutton. Graveside services will be 2 p.m., Friday, January 21 in the Lake Creek Union Cemetery, in Bartlett, Kansas. Dr. Wayne Norton will officiate. Friends may call Thursday, 1 until 8 p.m. at the Penwell-Gabel Ford-Wulf-Bruns Chapel. Memorials may be given to the First Baptist Church of Coffeyville or the donors choice.
