Doris Gerry Holler, 93, of Coffeyville, Kansas passed away on Sunday, June 8, 2014 at Windsor Place in Coffeyville.

Gerry was born on April 3, 1921 in Pittsburg, Kansas. She grew up in Pittsburg where she earned her high school education.

On August 10, 1940 she was united in marriage to the love of her life, Charles Bud Holler, Sr. The couple made their home in Coffeyville, Kansas. Gerry filled her time caring for her family and raising her three boys, Charles, Jr., Bill Joe and Jerry Lee. She was a proud mother who volunteered as a Cub Scout and Boy Scout Leader. She was a member of the Reorganized Church of Latter Day Saints. She enjoyed making sock monkeys, scarecrows and other crafts that she often sold for church fundraising.

Surviving to honor her memory is her son, Charles Holler Jr. and his wife, Barbara of Coffeyville, Kansas daughterinlaw Linda Holler of La Fayette, Indiana grandchildren, Charles Holler III, Donald Holler both of Coffeyville, Kansas, Rick Holler of Independence, Kansas, Claire Lossner of Coffeyville, Kansas, Brian Holler of Lenapah, Oklahoma, Bill Holler of Leavenworth, Kansas, Dennis Holler of La Fayette, Indiana nineteen great grandchildren and seven greatgreat grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her parents loving husband, Charles Holler, Sr. sons, Jerry Lee and Bill Joe Holler and three siblings.

Cremation has taken place and a Memorial Inurnment Service will take place on Monday, June 30, 2014 at 2pm at Fairview Cemetery in Coffeyville, Kansas. The family asks that in lieu of flowers, memorial contributions can be made payable to The American Cancer Society these may be left with the funeral home.
