Dorothy M. Urquhart 1927-2005 Dorothy M. Urquhart, age 77, passed away on Friday evening, January 7, 2005 at Coffeyville Regional Medical Center, Skilled Nursing Unit in Coffeyville, Kansas. She was born January 21, 1927 in Caney, Kansas to Bud and Hallie Kaiser Howard. She lived in the Coffeyville area since 1947. She married RobertBill Urquhart on May 16, 1947 in Caney, Kansas. She worked at the Coffeyville Regional Medical Center as a Nurses Aide. She also worked as Private Duty Nurse and at numerous doctors offices over the years until she retired in 1986. She was a member of the Caney Christian Church. She is survived by her husband, RobertBill Urquhart of Coffeyville, Kansas; two daughters, Janace Jones of Wann, Oklahoma and Gloria Taylor of Federal Way, Washington; one son, Keith Urquhart of Coffeyville, Kansas; six grandchildren; three step-grandchildren; twelve great grandchildren; nine step-great-grandchildren; one sister, Dola Cress of Fort Scott, Kansas; two brothers, Bill Howard of Castle Rock, Colorado and David L. Howard of Russellville, Arkansas; numerous nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents and two sisters, Mary Ann Thompson of Caney, Kansas and Maye Dockendorf of Russell, Kansas. Visitation will be held from 8:00 a.m. to 8:00 p.m., Tuesday, January 11, 2005 at the Penwell-Gabel Ford-Wulf-Bruns Chapel in Coffeyville, Kansas. Funeral services will be held at 2:00 p.m., Wednesday, January 12, 2005 at Penwell-Gabel Ford-Wulf-Bruns Chapel in Coffeyville, Kansas. Interment will follow at Penwell-Gabel Restlawn Memorial Park Cemetery in Coffeyville. In lieu of flowers, the family has suggested memorial donations to Windsor Place Activity Fund and these remembrances may be left at the funeral home.
