Ed Special Schille, 50, of Coffeyville, Kansas passed away on Wednesday, May 28, 2014 at his home.
Edward Albert Schille was born on January 1, 1964 in Fort Dix, New Jersey to Al and Rogene Leader Schille. He grew up in Coffeyville, Kansas where he received his high school education from Field Kindley Memorial High, class of 1983.
On May 17, 2008 he was united in marriage to the love of his life, Gina Rutherford in Coffeyville, Kansas at the St. Pauls Episcopal Church. Ed worked as a heavy equipment operator for Muller Construction in years past. The couple had a passion for riding motorcycles and going on bike runs. Ed had a knack for fixing things and gardening. He spent his time loving and caring for his wife, Gina. Most of all he enjoyed being surrounded by his family and friends. He was a member of the St. Pauls Episcopal Church in Coffeyville, the Sons of the American Legion and the American Legion Riders. Ed will always be remembered for his sense of humor and always having a nickname for everyone.
Surviving to honor his memory is his loving wife, Gina of the home children, Kirsten Coquillette of Tulsa, Oklahoma, Josh Knisley and girlfriend, Heather Gillman of Coffeyville, Kansas, Jillian Schille and boyfriend, Shay Schnoor of Tulsa, Oklahoma, Frankee Schille of Coffeyville, Kansas mother, Rogene Schille of Coffeyville, Kansas sisters, Tammie Frye and husband, Marty of Wann, Oklahoma, Roxie Schille Holeman and fianc Brent Blagg of Coffeyville, Kansas grandson, Conner Schille of Tulsa, Oklahoma granddaughter Lyla Gillman of Coffeyville, Kansas numerous nieces, nephews, cousins and close friends.
He was preceded in death by his father, Al Schille brother and friend, Fred Schille paternal grandparents, Sam and Alberta Schille and his maternal grandparents, Marion and Ruth Leader.
Cremation has taken place and a Memorial Service will be held on Friday, June 6, 2014 at 10:00 a.m. at the St. Pauls Episcopal Church in Coffeyville, Kansas. Reverend Antoinette Tackkett will officiate. Inurnment will follow at Fairview Cemetery Veterans Patio. Friends may call on Thursday, June 5, 2014 at FordWulfBruns Chapel in Coffeyville to sign the guest register from 9:00 a.m. until 8:00 p.m. The family will greet friends Thursday evening at the funeral home from
6:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m.
The family suggests memorial contributions can be made payable to the American Legion Post 138 or to the St. Pauls Episcopal Church these may be left with the funeral home.
