Edwina Sharon McNeal, age 75 of Coffeyville, Kansas passed away with her children at her side at the Pleasant Valley Manor in Sedan, Kansas.
Sharon was born on March 29, 1949 in Coffeyville to Frank and Lula “Louise” (Hannah) Foster. Sharon was one of eleven children. Sharon attended school in Coffeyville completing her education with some college classes and receiving a certificate as a Certified Nurse’s Aide at Coffeyville Community College. Sharon worked for Medicalodges and Windsor Place where she retired from.
Sharon cherished her children Angela and David. Spending time with her growing family of eight grandchildren and eleven great-grandchildren was what she valued most. Sharon also enjoyed creating beautiful ceramic pieces, playing bingo and spending time with her friends in addition to her family.
Her family that is reflecting today and for years to come on a lifetime of cherished memories is her daughter Angela Alvarado, son David Perry and wife Randi Dawn, grandchildren Mikayla McNeal-Alvarado, Chad McNeal, Victoria Alvarado, Amanda Lowther, Shyla Henslee, Skye Perry, Megan Perry, and Brittney Montgomery and eleven great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents and six brothers, Ed Foster, David Foster, Jimmie Foster, John T. Foster, Homer “Sam” Foster infant brother Lesslie Foster, four sisters, Mary Frost, Sara Coy, Margie Rowe, and Audrey Budd.
Sharon’s family will hold a private memorial service where they will lay her to rest near her infant daughter, Leslie LeAnne Castorena. Ford-Wulf-Bruns Chapel has been entrusted with her care.
