Ervin Kuehn

Ervin H. Kuehn age 83, of Fairmont, Oklahoma and formerly Coffeyville, Kansas died Monday, February 21, 2005 at his home. Mr. Kuehn was born on April 23, 1921 in Nashville, Kansas to Ernest and Alma Bockelmann Kuehn. He attended St. Pauls Lutheran Church School. On October 15, 1945 he married Thelma Louise Cheek. The couple made their home in South Coffeyville, Oklahoma, where they farmed. Mrs. Kuehn preceded him in death October 31, 2000 in Coffeyville, Kansas. Mr. Kuehn had made his home in Fairmont, Oklahoma since Thanksgiving, 2000. Mr. Kuehn was a member of St. Pauls Lutheran Church in Coffeyville, where he was also confirmed. He is survived by: three daughters, Sharon Wilson, of St. Thomas, Virgin Islands Kathleen Marso, of Leavenworth, Kansas Ruth Dorsch, of Fairmont, Oklahoma two brothers, Harold Kuehn, of South Coffeyville, Oklahoma Vernon Kuehn, of South Coffeyville, Oklahoma one sister, Edna Lentz, of Cheney, Kansas six grandchildren, Clark Wilson, Chad Duncan, Lissie Duncan, Jennifer Bowman, Ben Dorsch and Dan Dorsch. He is also preceded in death by his parents; five brothers; one sister. Funeral services will be 11 am, Friday, February 25 at St. Pauls Lutheran Church with burial in Penwell-Gabels Restlawn Memorial Park Cemetery, both of Coffeyville, Kansas. Pastor Richard Peckman will officiate. Friends may call at the Penwell-Gabel Ford-Wulf-Bruns Chapel Thursday, 1 until 8 pm. Memorials may be given to St. Pauls Lutheran Church and may be left at the funeral home.
