Etta Nadine Slaton, 73, Coffeyville, passed away Saturday, January 28, 2006, at a hospital in Joplin, Missouri. She was born August 30, 1932, in Coffeyville, Kansas the daughter of Clarence Amos and Louisa Jane Frank Sprague. Etta was a homemaker. She married Donald Slaton February 13, 1947, in Coffeyville, Kansas. Survivors include: Husband: Donald Slaton of the home in Coffeyville 2 Sons: Donald W. Slaton Coffeyville, Kansas Michael D. Slaton Dearing, Kansas 1 Daughter: Linda D. Rogers Coffeyville, Kansas 2 Brothers: Franklin and Lewis Sprague Coffeyville, Kansas 3 Sisters: Louise Tosh, Maybelle Wright and Phyllis Hall Coffeyville, Kansas 10 Grandchildren 23 Great Grandchildren 1 Great Great Grandchild A graveside service will be 11:00 a.m. Tuesday, January 31, at the Penwell-Gabel Restlawn Memorial Park Cemetery. Mrs. Slaton will lie state from 1-9:00 p.m. Monday, January 30, at the Penwell-Gabel Ford-Wulf-Bruns Funeral Home.
