Garrey Eck

Garrey Dean Eck, age 69, of Coffeyville, Kansas, passed away early Wednesday evening, September 8, 2004, at his home. Garrey was born September 30, 1934 in Centerville, Kansas, to Jeremiah and Ruth Holt Eck. He married Eula Hibbs in 1954 and they later
orced. He later married Kathy Garrett Reed on October 1, 1984 in Miami, Oklahoma. He loved the Lord and was a member of the Lewark Church of God in Coffeyville. He retired from Funk Manufacturing as a machinist in 1994. He served in the military, loved to hunt and fish and work with animals. He is survived by: His wife of the home: Kathy Eck One Son: Bill Eck and Wife Rachel of Rural Cherryvale, Ks Six Daughters: Vallerie Eck of Rural Coffeyville, Ks Deneece and Husband Clinton Journot of Rural Parsons, Ks Brenda and Husband Daniel Grigg of Coffeyville, Ks Betty Norris of Eldon, MO Barbara and Husband Mycale Baker of South Coffeyville, OK Jessica and Husband Brian Fitch of Argonia, KS 2 Brothers: Willard Eck of Parsons, KS Jack Eck of Girard, KS 16 Grandchildren and 2 Great Grandchildren Preceded in death by both parents, a Sister Mildred Hambleton, a Son Garrey D. Eck and a Grandson, Zack Baker. Chapel services will be held at 10:00 A.M., Saturday, September 11, 2004 at the Penwell-Gabel Ford-Wulf-Brun Chapel in Coffeyville. Reverend J.D. Wright will be officiating. Visitation will be held from 1:00- 8:00 P.M., Friday, September 10, 2004 at the Chapel. Burial will follow at the Spring Hill Cemetery in Rural Parsons, KS. Penwell-Gabel Ford-Wulf Bruns Chapel of Coffeyville is in charge of the arrangements.
