Glenda Carriker

Glenda Kay Carriker, 65, of Coffeyville, Kansas passed away on Tuesday, April 15, 2014 at her home.

Glenda was born on March 18, 1949 in Coffeyville, Kansas to Floyd and Georgia Phillips Carriker. She grew up in Coffeyville, Kansas where she received her high school education from Field Kindley Memorial High School and earned her Associate Degree from Coffeyville Community Junior College.

Glenda loved spending time with her family. She stayed busy taking care of the house and raising her four boys. She enjoyed any time the family could get together especially for BBQs and Porch Sittin.
Glenda enjoyed shopping. She always loved a good bargain, so you could often catch her out at a local thrift store, antique shop or rummage sale. She also enjoyed spending time outdoors.

Surviving to honor her memory are her four sons, Randy Carriker of Coffeyville, Kansas, Monte Carriker and wife, Kitty of Moran, Kansas, Eric Boswell and wife, Christina of Wichita, Kansas, Carlos Chavez and wife, Amber of Bartlesville, Oklahoma brothers, Greg and Steve Carriker both of Coffeyville, Kansas twin sister, Linda Knisley of Coffeyville, Kansas sisterinlaw, Joyce Hambleton of Dennis, Kansas thirteen grandchildren and five greatgrandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents, Floyd and Georgia an infant son and a brother, Phillip Carriker.
