Glenn E. Robb, Jr. 82, Coffeyville, passed away early Friday at the Coffeyville Regional Medical Center. He was born November 23, 1922, in Coffeyville the son of Glenn Ertle and Easter Jewell Yarber Robb, Sr. Glenn attended Garfield, Roosevelt Jr. High and Field Kindley High School. He enlisted in the U.S. Navy upon graduation from high school September of 1940 and was a candidate for officers school. Glenn worked for Western Electric in Oklahoma, Kansas, New Mexico and Texas. He retired from Western Electric April of 1973. Glenn loved to travel and was an active amateur radio operator. He blonged to Retired Federal Communications Employees for over 35 years; AARP; and was a member of First Baptist Church in Coffeyville. Glenn married Lynda D. Black from Seminole, Oklahoma. They were married in Independence, Kansas. She passed away May 20, 1986. He was also preceded in death by his parents. Jon Paul Mahaffy Pasadena, Calfornia 2 Great Nieces Rhonda Riley Claremore, Ok. Wendy Mahaffy San Diego, California 2 Great Great Nephews: Samuel Riley Claremore, Ok. Billy Erne Coffeyville, Ks. A funeral service will be 10:00 a.m. Tuesday, September 27 at the Penwell-Gabel Ford-Wulf-Bruns Funeral Chapel. Entombment will follow the service at Penwell-Gabel Restlawn Memorial Park Cemetery. Mr. Robb will lie in state from 8:00 - 8:00 Monday at the funeral home. Memorial contributions may be given to the First Baptist Church and left in care of the funeral home.
