Grace Peyton

Grace L. Peyton 1920 2005 Grace L. Peyton, age 85, Windsor Place resident of Coffeyville, Kansas passed away on October 12, 2005 at the Coffeyville Regional Medical Center, Coffeyville, Kansas. She was born September 14, 1920 rural Mound Valley, Kansas to Lewis and Rosa Cecil Mathis. She attended Cherryvale schools as a child. She married Lloyd Peyton November 18, 1937 in Independence, Kansas. He preceded her in death July 10, 1988. She was a homemaker. Lloyd and Grace were farmers in the Liberty community most all of their life. Hobbies include: crossword puzzles, her cat fuzzball, reading and most of all spending time with her family. Mrs. Peyton was a member of the Assembly of God Church, Coffeyville, Kansas. Survivors include: Six sons: Ralph Peyton, John Peyton, Jerry Peyton, Ted Peyton, Roger Peyton, Jim Peyton all of Coffeyville. One daughter: Darlene Inman, Coffeyville. 14 grandchildren, 24 greatgrandchildren She was preceded in death by her parents, three brothers, two sisters. Family and friends may call from 1 pm until 8 pm, Friday, October 14, 2005 at the Penwell-Gabel Ford-Wulf-Bruns Chapel, 2405 Woodland Ave., Coffeyville, Ks. Graveside Services: Family and friends will gather at the Robbins Cemetery, Rural Coffeyville at 2:00 p.m., October 15, 2005 for Graveside Services.
