Ida Louise Tosh, age 91 of Coffeyville, Kansas died Friday, January 10, 2014 at the Windsor Place in Coffeyville, Kansas.

Celebration of Life Services will be held at 2:00 p.m., Wednesday, January 15, 2014 at the FordWulfBruns Chapel in Coffeyville, Kansas with Bryson Sprague officiating. Burial will follow in the Fairview Cemetery in Coffeyville, Kansas under the direction of the FordWulfBruns Chapel.

Visitation hours will be held from 12:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m., Tuesday, January 14, 2014 with the family receiving friends from 6:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. at the FordWulfBruns Chapel.

The family has suggested memorials to the American Kidney Foundation and contributions may be left at the FordWulfBruns Chapel.

Ida Louise Tosh was born January 9, 1923 in Coffeyville, Kansas to Clarence Amos and Louisa Frank Sprague. She grew up in Coffeyville, Kansas and attended schools in Coffeyville.

On February 12, 1937 Louise married John L. Tosh in Coffeyville, Kansas where the couple made their home. John preceded her in death in 1996. Louise worked as a dorm mother at the Coffeyville Community College, and then for Montgomery County Health Clinic and also cleaned the Montgomery County Court House and the Coffeyville Senior Citizens Building. She was a member of the First Southern Baptist Church.

Survivors include five sons, Johnny Tosh and wife Sue of Pittsburg, Kansas, Clarence Tosh and wife Judith of Coffeyville, Kansas, Kenneth Tosh of Coffeyville, Kansas, Steve Tosh and wife Nisha of Bentonville, Arkansas and Jimmy Tosh and wife Julie of Ponca City, Oklahoma two daughters Martha McCurley and husband David of Forsyth, Missouri and Sharon Felton and husband Tim of South Coffeyville, Oklahoma one brother Franklin Sprague of Coffeyville, Kansas one sister Phyllis Jean Hall of Coffeyville, Kansas and numerous grandchildren, great and great great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by two sons, Joe Tosh and Charles Tosh, two brothers, Byrson Sprague and Louise C. Sprague, four sisters, Juanita Todd, Mae Bell Wright, Martha Maggard, and Nadine Slaton.
