Janice Lee Cooper

Janice Lee Cooper, born on April 5, 1942, to James J. Simpson and Frances E. Maddox, was lovingly raised as an only child by her mother and stepfather, Fred Braly. She passed away with cherished memories and a legacy of love.

On June 14, 1964, Janice married Joe Earl Cooper, and together they formed a wonderful family with their three sons: Tyree, Shad, and Leland. Janice dedicated over 20 years to serving as a bus driver for Mapleton public schools in Denver, Colorado, where she touched the lives of many children and families.

Throughout her life, Janice found joy in hunting and fishing with her boys, as well as spending summer days at their mountain cabin. She was passionate about attending her sons' stock car races and hosting family gatherings, creating lasting memories filled with laughter and love.

Janice is survived by her sons: Tyree (Jennifer) Cooper of Douglas, ND, and Leland (Sabrina) Cooper of Caney, KS; and her beloved grandchildren, Madison Inserra, Lane Cooper, Alexis Cooper, and Cole Cooper. She was preceded in death by her husband, Joe Earl Cooper, and her son, Shad Wyatt Cooper.

In celebrating Janice's life, we remember her kindness, dedication, and the loving bonds she fostered within her family. She will be deeply missed but forever cherished in the hearts of those she leaves behind.
