Jerry Rick Villines 1942 2005 Born June 30, 1942 in Harrison, Arkansas to Nathan Pete and Louvie Villines. Died October 13, 2005 in Cleveland, Ohio. Jerry had lived in Coffeyville, Kansas since 1963. On May 13, 1963 he married Carloyn Pierce in Stillwell, Oklahoma. Survivors include his wife Carolyn Villines of the home. His daughter Melissa Winters, son-in-law Roger and grandson Ryan of Wichita, Kansas. His son John Villines, daughter-in-law Tammy and grandson Dylon of South Coffeyville, Oklahoma. His son Rick Villines, daughter-in-law Denae and granddaughter Emma of Whitewater, Kansas and grandson Bradley Villines of Coffeyville, Kansas. His sisters Rose McNutt, Sally Carlson and Sheila Combs of Harrison, Arkansas. His brother Bob Villines of Mountain Home, Arkansas. Jerry was preceded in death by his parents, one brother Bill Villines and one sister Wanda Post of Harrison, Arkansas. Jerry was a member of the First Baptist Church Circle C Saddle Club both of Coffeyville. He served in the US National Guard in the 60s. Jerry retired from John Deere in Coffeyville after 31 years of service. Jerry loved and treasured his family and friends. He was an avid outdoorsmen and well known in the mule competiton industry. Jerry loved competing and traveling to different shows and competitions. He will be forever loved and missed by all who surrounded him. Memorial contributions may be sent to the American Cancer Society in care of Penwell-Gabel Ford-Wulf-Bruns, 2405 Woodland Ave., Coffeyville, Kansas. Cremation has taken place and Celebration of Life services will be held Tuesday, October 18, 2005 at 2:00 p.m. at the Penwell-Gabel Ford-Wulf-Bruns Chapel. Friends may sign the guest register and view flowers, celebration of life video and photos from 1:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m., Monday, October 17, 2005 at the Funeral Home.
