Obituary

Judith “Judy” Diane Voth, age 78 of Independence, Ks, passed away surrounded by family in her home on August 31, 2026. She was a beloved wife, mother, and grandmother and left this world leaving a legacy of love and kindness.

Judy was born in Independence, Ks to Alfred and Fern (Maske) Nichols on February 28, 1948. She graduated from Elk City High School.

United with her devoted husband, Franklin "Frank" Voth, since May 3, 1990, Judy shared a deep commitment to family and faith that inspired all who knew her.

For 34 years, Judy excelled as an Aircraft Fuel Systems Specialist, a testament to her unwavering dedication and skill. However, her true passion lay in nurturing her family—a role she embraced with boundless love and joy.

Her home echoed with the timeless melodies of Elvis Presley, whose music she adored and imparted to all generations, from her children to her great-grandson. Visits to Graceland were not just trips, but pilgrimages where she enriched her collection of Elvis memorabilia, celebrating a shared love that spanned decades. A special memory was spent wandering the grounds of Graceland several times seeing how many new Elvis coffee mugs she could add to her collection and new pieces of Elvis flair for her beloved Elvis room.

As "Mema" to seven grandchildren and one great-grandson, Judy reveled in the joys of grandparenthood. Her heart was immeasurable, her generosity endless, often expressed in delightful surprises and thoughtful gifts that brightened the lives around her. Whether it was a miniature pony or a stash of peppermints, Judy's gestures of love were as unique as they were abundant.

Judy's profound Christian faith guided her actions and provided a comforting embrace for her friends and family. Her prayers lifted those she loved, and her spirit of giving left an indelible mark on every life she touched.

Judy is survived by her adoring husband, Frank; her children, Crystal Matile, Dustin Hirrlinger, and Carie Eytcheson; her grandchildren, Taylor, Garrett, Kyler, Halle, Dacey, Daxtin, and Everly; and her great-grandson, Hayzen.
