Julia Marie Kastler 1920- 2005 Julia Marie Kastler, age 85, formerly of Tyro, Kansas, died early Saturday afternoon, March 5, 2005 at the Silver Lake Care Center in Bartlesville, Oklahoma. She was born February 17, 1920 in Indian Territory, Oklahoma to Jacob Clarence Bronnenberg and Nettie Ophelia Yelton. Julia married Eldon Kastler on April 14, 1940 in Chetopa, Kansas. They would have been married 65 years in April. He survives in the Care Center. Julia lived in the Johnson County, Kansas area for about 45 years, retiring to the Coffeyville area in 1990. Sewing and gardening were a couple of her special interests. Julia was also known to be a fabulous cook. She enjoyed and loved being with her family. She loved spending time with her grandchildren. She was a member of the Coffeyville Lions Club and the Tyro Christian Church. Survivors include: Husband: Eldon Kastler of Bartlesville, Oklahoma. 1 Son: Larry Kastler and wife Barbara of Fairfield Glade, TN. 1 Daughter: Kathi Sutton and husband Mike of Tyro, Kansas. 2 Brothers: Ralph Bronnenberg of Arvada, CO. Dwight Bronnenberg of Mulvane, Kansas. 1 Sister: Doris Hilton of Coffeyville, Kansas. 8 Grandchildren; 17 Great Grandchildren; 1 Great Great Grandchild. Julia was preceded in death by her Parents, 4 Brothers and 1 daughter, Linda Kastler. Calling time will be Wednesday, March 9, 2005, from 8am-8pm, at the Penwell-Gabel Ford-Wulf-Bruns Chapel in Coffeyville, Kansas. Family will receive friends from 7pm-8pm at the chapel. Funeral Services will be Thursday, March 10, 2005 at 2:00 P.M., at the Tyro Christian Church in Tyro, Kansas. Pastor David Bycroft will be officiating. Burial will follow in the Robbins Cemetery in rural Coffeyville, Kansas. Memorials may be given to the Trinity Hospice of Bartlesville, Oklahoma coPenwell-Gabel Ford-Wulf-Bruns Chapel.
