Katherine "Kathie" Ann McBeath, age 65, of Coffeyville, Kansas died Thursday, May 21, 2015 at her home in Coffeyville, Kansas.

Celebration of Life Services will be held at 2:00 p.m., Tuesday, May 26, 2015 at the Ford-Wulf-Bruns Chapel with the Gerald Morris officiating. Burial will follow in the Robbins Cemetery under the direction of the Ford-Wulf-Bruns Chapel.

Visitation hours will be held from 1:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m., Monday, May 25, 2015 with the family receiving friends from 4:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m. at the Ford-Wulf-Bruns Chapel. Friends may leave online condolences at www.fordwulfbrunschapel.com.

The family has suggested memorials to the Coffeyville Boys and Girls Club and contributions may be left the Ford-Wulf-Bruns Chapel.

Katherine "Kathie" Ann McBeath was born September 26, 1949 in Coffeyville, Kansas to Raymond and Ruth (Hawkins) Donaghe. Kathie grew up in Coffeyville, Kansas and attended the Coffeyville School System. On February 4, 1976 Kathie entered the United States Army and severed as an Air Traffic Controller until her honorable discharge on February 14, 1978. She also attended and graduated from Independence Cosmetology School.

On September 8, 1980 Kathie married Robert "Bob" L. McBeath in Miami, Oklahoma. The couple made their home in Coffeyville, Kansas. Kathie worked for over 40 years as a hairdresser in Coffeyville, Kansas and most recently at Jan's Style Salon. She was also very active in the Coffeyville Community Theatre.

Survivors include her husband Robert "Bob" L. McBeath of the home; one son James L. Knisley II and wife Melinda of Carterville, Missouri; two daughters Dee Ann Tesh of Altoona, Kansas, Patricia "Patti" Imlay of Coffeyville, Kansas; five step daughters Jackie Everitt and husband Glen of Coffeyville, Kansas, Sherry Messner of Coffeyville, Kansas, Tammy Christmore and husband Danny of Coffeyville, Kansas, Julie Northup of Coffeyville, Kansas and Tina Daniels and husband Nathan of Coffeyville, Kansas; one brother Raymond L. Donaghe of Kansas; two sisters Martha Coons of Coffeyville, Kansas and Sharon Shamblin of Tyro, Kansas; 22 grandchildren and 30 great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by one sister, Carol Donaghe Garner, step son Robert McBeath Jr. and two grandchildren Rachel Knisley and Ashley Tesh.
