KATHRYN L. ROBINETT 1950-2004 Kathryn L. Robinett, age 54, of Coffeyville, Kansas passed away Friday, September 3, 2004 at the Coffeyville Regional Medical Center in Coffeyville, Kansas. She was born August 8, 1950 in Coffeyville, Kansas to Leo and Mildred Roark Sack. She grew up and attended school in Coffeyville, Kansas. She was Miss Coffeyville in 1969. She played the organ at the Holy Name Catholic Church and she also had the childrens choir. She was in the United Singing Group. She enjoyed singing and playing for local weddings, cooking, Nascar events and her grandchildren. She also belonged to the Quartet 4 His Glory. She was a medical terminology instructor at the Coffeyville Community College. She worked at the Four State Maintenance. Before that she worked at Tri-State Electric in Coffeyville. She helped out with fundraising with the Faith and Light Organization for handicapped children. She helped with the Foreign Exchange Program at Coffeyville Community College. She was also involved in numerous other organizations. She is survived by her husband, Ron Robinett, Sr. of Coffeyville, Kansas; one sister, Joyce Hargrove of Texas; two sons, Richard Hinthorn and wife Tammie of Newkirk, Oklahoma and Ronnie Robinett, Jr. and wife Carrie of Coffeyville, Kansas; one daughter Karen Bobbe of Coffeyville, Kansas; special friend Jennifer Garrison of Wichita, Kansas; one aunt, Francis Kilmer of Wichita, Kansas; and ten grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents; one brother, Jimmy Shelton. Register book signing will be held from 9:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m., Tuesday, September 7, 2004 at the Penwell-Gabel Ford-Wulf-Bruns Chapel of Coffeyville. Rosary Services will be held at 7:30 p.m., Tuesday, September 7, 2004 at the Holy Name Catholic Church in Coffeyville. Cremation has taken place and Funeral Mass Memorial Services will be held at 10:00 a.m., Wednesday on September 8, 2004 at the Holy Name Catholic Church in Coffeyville. Burial will follow at the Calvary Cemetery in Coffeyville. In lieu of flowers the family has suggested memorial contributions to be given for a scholarship to the Coffeyville Community College Vocal Department.
