Kathy LaVern Woolfolk, age 64, of Coffeyville, Kansas died Thursday, October 17, 2013 at her home in Coffeyville, Kansas.

Celebration of Life Services will be held at 2:00 p.m., Tuesday, October 22, 2013 at the FordWulfBruns Chapel in Coffeyville, Kansas. Burial will follow in the Altamont Cemetery under the direction of the FordWulfBruns Chapel.

Visitation hours will be held at 12:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m., Monday, October 21, 2013 with the family receiving friends from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. at the FordWulfBruns Chapel.

The family has suggested memorials to the Harry Hynes Memorials Hospice and contributions may be left at the FordWulfBruns Chapel.

Kathy LaVern Woolfolk was born June 21, 1949 in Dallas, Texas to Frank and Vera Foster Talbot. In May of 1962 the family moved to Mound Valley, Kansas. Kathy graduated from the Labette County High School in 1967.

On February 3, 1967 Kathy married Roy Woolfolk in Parsons, Kansas the couple made their home in Wichita and Mulvane, Kansas before moving to Coffeyville, Kansas in 1969 and later to rural Coffeyville. Kathy worked at McDonalds, RocAChair, and Walmart for 20 years. She loved reading, cooking, sewing, facebook, gambling and spending time with her grandchildren and family.

Survivors include her husband Roy of the home four sons Darrin and wife Deana Woolfolk of Edna, Scott and wife Madonna Woolfolk of Wann, Brian and wife Sherri Woolfolk of Edna and Mark and wife Tracie Woolfolk of Edna motherinlaw and fatherinlaw Tom and Fern Woolfolk of Parsons, two brothers David and wife Gloria Talbot of Parsons and Michael and wife Denise Talbot of Palm Bay, Florida Sisterinlaw Pat Mason of Pittsburg Grandchildren Brad Woolfolk of Coffeyville, Chelsea Woolfolk of Edna, Matthew Woolfolk of Enid, OK, Kyla Woolfolk of Edna, Kaitlynn and husband Brendan Finley of Pittsburg, Dylan Woolfolk of Wann, OK, Kyle Woolfolk of Edna, Natalie Woolfolk of Edna, Kendall Lawson of Edna, Abby Yeubanks of Enid, OK and numerous cousins, nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her parents Frank and Vera Foster Talbot, and one brother Frank Leslie Talbot.
