Kenny Lloyd Cooper

Kenny Lloyd Cooper was a caring brother, uncle, great uncle, and friend.   He left this world suddenly on December 20, 2023, at the age of 70 at his home of natural causes in Coffeyville, Kansas.

Kenny was born to Lloyd N. and Elda L. (Romine) Cooper in Springfield, Missouri on December 13, 1953.  The family moved to Caney where he graduated high school in 1971.  After graduating he enlisted in the US Navy and was in active duty from 1978 to 1985.  After the Navy he returned home to Caney and began working tat Kopco where he was a pressman for many years.  He continued his career in the printing industry which took him to several different states.

The simplest pleasures in life brought great joy to Kenny.  He was an avid book reader, gravitating to westerns and mysteries. He also enjoyed back roading to look at wildlife, playing cards especially spades because he was unbeatable because he kept score. He loved camping in the Colorado mountains, rock concerts, and going to Winfield to the Bluegrass festivals.  He would always help anytime needed. He will truly be missed.

Kenny is preceded in death by his parents Lloyd and Elda, brother James W. Cooper, sisters Nancy J. Shafer and Kathleen E. Cornett. Kenny is survived by his brother Michael A. Cooper, nine nieces and nephews, two great nieces and one great nephew.

Ford-Wulf-Bruns Chapel has been entrusted with services.  Service dates are pending at this time and will be updated when date and time have been determined.
