Kristie Diane Ray, age 47 passed away on September 20, 2017 in her home near Liberty, Kansas.

Kristie was born to Floyd Eugene "Gene" and Candace Ann "Candy" (Casey) Horton in Wellington, Kansas on March 20, 1970. Kristie attended school in Wichita and Olathe, Kansas. The family made their roots in Coffeyville over 30 years ago.

Kristie worked at Amazon for a number of years until the closing of the Coffeyville facility. She enjoyed and cherished spending time with her family. At a young age she found a fascination with blown glass and had collected several pieces over the years. She also enjoyed flower gardening.

Kristie's legacy will live on through her companion, Jerry Shamblin; daughters, Ashlynn Brook of Independence, Morgan Ray and companion Tanner Folk of Coffeyville, Kansas, parents, Gene and Candy Horton of Coffeyville, Kansas; sister, Lisa and husband Tim Schuetz of Gardner, Kansas; grandson, Merrick Folk of Coffeyville, Kansas.

A Memorial Service Celebrating Kristie's life will be held at 3 pm on Monday, October 9, 2017 at Amazing Grace Chapel, 501 E 9th St., Coffeyville, Kansas 67337 under the direction of Ford-Wulf-Bruns Chapel with Donna McClure officiating. The family has ask that contributions be made payable to the Kristie Ray Grandchildren Memorial Scholarship Fund, contributions may be left with the chapel.
