Lela P. Dickerman (Pierce) 78, of Coffeyville, KS, passed away in the early hours of November 21, 2022, at her home. She was born May 7, 1944, to Anna Mae Pierce (Renfro) and O.B. Pierce in Borger, Texas. She was United in marriage to William Scott Dickerman in Borger Texas on February 9, 1962. The couple made their home in Pampa, TX where they resided for 55 years, before relocating to Coffeyville, KS in 2021 for Lela to receive medical treatment. Their union was blessed with four children Tony, Bryan, Leanna and Kyle.

Lela is survived by her husband, William Scott Dickerman of the home, her daughter, Leanna Cook (Robbie) of Coffeyville, Ks and her son, Kyle Dickerman (Gracie) of Deming, NM. From these unions eight grandchildren blessed Lela. Erika Gulick & Jeff of Lubbock, TX; Brandon Dunham & Ashley of TX; Stephanie Legako & Jerrad of Lubbock, TX; Casey White of Panhandle, TX; Brad Cook & Jennifer of Coffeyville, KS; Tyler Cook & Erica of Coffeyville, KS; Diana Cook & Cameron Carr of Idaho Springs, CO; Lela Brianne Cantrell & Geoffrey of Hendersonville, NC and 16 great grandchildren. She is preceded in death by her two oldest sons, Bryan and Tony. both her parents, her three sisters and several nieces and nephews.

Lela’s happiest moments were playing any kind of games with all of her family. Yahtzee however, will always be a game she was choosy about who she played it with. Lela will be remembered as an amazing historian. She remembered every little detail of the special moments in life, especially those with loved ones. She had a fiery spirit, a gentle heart, and comforting snuggles for all her babies; in fact all babies were her babies. A private family service will be held on Monday, November 28, 2022, where Lela will be laid to rest in rest in Restlawn Memorial Park Cemetery.
