Lois M. Avery Lowther, 72, Coffeyville, Kansas passed away on Saturday, October 19, 2013 at Coffeyville Regional Medical Center in Coffeyville, Kansas.

Funeral Services will be 1:00 p.m., Tuesday, October 22, 2013 at Grace Fellowship Church in Coffeyville with Rev Brad Sanders officiating burial will follow in Restlawn Memorial Park Cemetery in Coffeyville.

Arrangement are under the direction of FordWulfBruns Chapel. Friends may register on Monday, October 21, 2013 from 1:00 p.m., 8:00 p.m., with the family receiving friends from 5:00 8:00 p.m., at Ford Wulf Bruns Chapel. In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to Harry Hynes Memorial Hospice and may be left with the chapel.

Lois was born June 12, 1941 in Dearing, Kansas to Ruth Regina McCorkle and Elwood Eugene Avery. Lois attended Whittier, McKinley, and Roosevelt High School in Coffeyville. Lois was united in marriage to Jack N. Lowther in 1976. She was employed at the Caney Box Factory and later at Super 8 Motel. Lois was a long standing member of Grace Fellowship Church and TOPS.

Lois was preceded in death by her parents and 7 siblings, Hazel, Charles, Iva, Floyd, Mary Ann, Larry, Judy, and a granddaughter Amanda Tosh.

Survivors include her husband Jack N. Lowther, of the home, 7 children Jeanie Rocky Hill, Judsonia, AR Sue Kinnison, Bartlesville, OK Marilyn Starnes, Coffeyville, KS Kristy Kenneth Holder, Moore, OK Johnny Tosh, Coffeyville, KS Larry Tosh, Coffeyville, KS Hope Chris Ramsey, Coffeyville, KS Loiss twin sister Louise Laforte, Coffeyville, KS sister Betty Nance, Independence, KS brother, Bob Avery, Coffeyville, KS seventeen grandchildren, Shane and Shawn Shy, Nikki, Jessica, and Derek Kinnison, Sarah Howell, Billy Fletcher, Casey, Tiffany, Samantha, Logan, and Derrick Tosh, Shelby Lowther, Christopher and Dillon Ramsey sixteen great grandchildren, Zachary, Natasha, Joeshia, Shyanne, Sarah, Stephanie, Emma, Evan, Kegan, Skylar, Noah, Austin, Brayden and two on the way.
