Lola Grace Seaton, 93, of Coffeyville, Kansas passed away on Wednesday, December 17, 2014 at Windsor Place in Coffeyville.
Lola was born on March 11, 1921 in Oakland, California to J.W. Bill and Sophia E. Hamberg Anderson. She grew up in Coffeyville, Kansas where she attended Field Kindley Memorial High School. Lola also achieved her Beauty College Certification in Coffeyville.
On September 20, 1941 she was united in marriage to Clifford R. Seaton in Independence, Kansas. The couple made their home in Coffeyville. Clifford preceded her in death on October 30, 1985. Lola spent her time taking care of her family. She enjoyed sewing, quilting, baking and most of all watching the grandchildren grow up. She loved spending time with her family and friends.
She is survived by her children, Karen Weimer of Coffeyville, Kansas, Debra Morgan and husband, William of Coffeyville, Kansas, Marilyn Barnard and husband, Bruce of Owasso, Oklahoma, Gayla Stroud and husband, Jim of Nederland, Colorado, Dwain Seaton and wife, Peggy of Coffeyville, Kansas fifteen grandchildren sixteen great grandchildren and six great great grandchildren. In addition to her parents and husband, Clifford she was preceded in death by a soninlaw, William Weimer and by twelve brothers and sisters.
Private Services were held at Restlawn Memorial Park Cemetery in Coffeyville, Kansas. FordWulfBruns Chapel in Coffeyville assisted the family with arrangements. The family suggests memorial contributions can be made payable to Coffeyville Meals on Wheels or the American Alzheimers Association these may be left with the funeral home.
