Maxine P. Palmerlee 1926 - 2005 Maxine P. Palmerlee, age 79, passed away on Wednesday, November 16, 2005 at the Medical Lodge Nursing Home, Coffeyville, Kansas. She was born October 31, 1926 Coffeyville, Kansas to Daniel Sykes and Victoria Bolen Sykes. She graduated Field Kindley Memorial High School, Coffeyville 1944. She married John Tickle in Coffeyville. They later
orced. She later married Herman Pete Palmerlee in Coffeyville 1975. He preceded her in death 1999. She is survived by her daughter, Carolyn Loffer Rick of Coffeyville; one brother, Bill Sykes, So. Coffeyville, Oklahoma; 7 grandchildren, 9 great grandchildren. Mrs. Palmerlee was also preceded in death by her parents, 3 brothers, Danny, Howard and Jim Sykes and 2 sisters, Evelyn Tickle and one infant sister Marie. She was a homemaker. Pete and Maxine lived at Grand Lake, Oklahoma for about 10 years. They were active in the local VFW and DAV in Grove, Oklahoma. They were members of the Baptist Church in Grove, Oklahoma. Calling HoursVisitation will be held on Friday, November 18, 2005 from 1 p.m. until 8 p.m. at the Funeral Home. Funeral Services will be held 2:00 p.m., Saturday, November 19, 2005 at the Penwell-Gabel Ford-Wulf-Bruns Chapel, 2405 Woodland Ave., Coffeyville, Kansas. Rev. Wayne Norton of the First Baptist Church will be presiding. Burial will follow in the Fairview Cemetery, Coffeyville, Kansas.
