Nona J. Stotts, 74, of Coffeyville, Kansas passed away on June 7, 2015 at her home surrounded by her loving family.

Nona was born on May 15, 1941 in Lutie, Missouri to Edward and Reba (Sallee) Hackler. She grew up in Missouri where she attended Longrun School until age 10. The family then moved to Coffeyville, Kansas where she attended Longfellow, McKinley and Field Kindley Memorial High School. As a young girl she worked at Newberry's.

On March 23, 1970 she married the love of her life, Ron Stotts in Independence, Kansas. The couple made rural Coffeyville their home. She worked for several years at Lee's Sewing Factory in Cherryvale, Kansas and also for the Kansas Army Ammunition Plant from 1968-1969. Most of her time was spent raising the children and tending to the farm. She loved farming, you could always find her out on a tractor and working the hay fields. She also had a knack for craft projects. She made the most beautiful ribbons and bows and was a talented oil painter.

Nona is survived by her loving husband, Ron of the home; children, Mona Walker of Coffeyville, KS, Belinda Kaye Mata and Clayton Vineyard of Coffeyville, KS, Allen Stotts and Lana Dean of Coffeyville, KS, Todd Stotts and wife, Jennifer of Elk City, KS, Tony Stotts and wife, Kirsten of Coffeyville, KS; grandchildren, Cody Burnett and wife, Lyn, Manissa McFarland and husband, Charles, Mickole Stanley, Caland Stotts, Lania Stultz and husband, Kalob, Stran Stotts, Bode Stotts, Cashus Stotts, Sarah Stotts and Ethan Stotts; thirteen great grandchildren and one great-great granddaughter; brother, Gary Hackler and wife, Diane of Bartlesville, OK; sister, Donna Ann Allen and husband, Phil of Edna, KS.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Edward and Reba; brothers, Leonard and Eldon Hackler and a sister, Lorene Herd.

Funeral Service will be held on Thursday, June 11, 2015 at 1:00 p.m. at Ford-Wulf-Bruns Chapel in Coffeyville. Interment will follow at Fairview Cemetery. Visitation will be held on Wednesday, June 10, 2015 from 12:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. the family will greet friends on Wednesday evening at the funeral home from 6:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. The family suggests memorial contributions can be made payable to the St. Jude's Children's Hospital; these may also be left with the funeral home.
