Olin "Dale" Hamlin age 81 of Coffeyville passed away on Friday August 4, 2017 at Coffeyville Regional Medical Center.

Dale was born on January 26, 1936 in Sand Springs, Oklahoma to Olin K and Colleen (Vaughn) Hamlin. He attended school in Coffeyville, graduating from Field Kindley High School in 1954. He then attended Coffeyville Community College earning his associates degree in 1956. He then continued his education at Pittsburg State University where he met his future wife. He then went to work for and helped manage the family's business, O K Electric Works until his retirement. He married Patricia Atwell on June 30, 1957. The couple was blessed with two daughters, Terri Moley and Tracy Burnett. He served in the National Guard, was a member of the First Methodist Church, a member of the Jaycees, and was an active member in the PTA when his children were young. He coached the O K Electric softball team for a number of years as well. He loved riding motorcycles, hunting, and most of all fishing. He and Pat traveled several places around the world fishing. After his retirement they bought a home on Grand Lake and they resided there until 2008 with failing health they moved back to Coffeyville.

Those Left to honor his memory are, his daughter Terri Moley her husband Tom, grandchildren, Jason Nash, Megan Camp, Jesse Moley and 11 great-grandchildren. Dale now rests with his parents, his wife Pat, daughter Tracy Burnett, and grandson Joey Moley.

Funeral services will be held on Wednesday, August 9, 2017 at 1:00pm at Ford-Wulf-Bruns Chapel with Reverend Gary Davis officiating. Interment will immediately follow at Fairview Cemetery. Friends are invited to greet the family and sign the register on Tuesday, August 8, 2017 from 6:00pm to 8:00pm at the Chapel. The family suggests memorials be made payable to the Coffeyville Friends Of Animals and they may be sent in care of Ford-Wulf-Bruns Chapel 2405 Woodland Ave Coffeyville, KS 67337.
