Oneta Rogers

Oneta Mae Rogers, age 80, of Coffeyville, Kansas died Tuesday, May 26, 2015 at the Coffeyville Regional Medical Center.

Celebration of Life Graveside Services will be held at 10:00 a.m., Saturday, May 30, 2015 at the Fairview Cemetery in Coffeyville, under the direction of the Ford-Wulf-Bruns Chapel.

Visitation hours will be held from 12:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m., Friday, May 29, 2015 with the family receiving friends from 6:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. at the Ford-Wulf-Bruns Chapel. Friends may leave online condolences at www.fordwulfbrunschapel.com.

The family has suggested memorials to the Wound Warriors Foundation and contributions may be left at the Ford-Wulf-Bruns Chapel.

Oneta Mae Rogers was born February 5, 1935 in Coffeyville, Kansas to John Robert and Naomi (Frantz) Mann. She grew up in Coffeyville, Kansas and attended the Coffeyville School System.

In 1948 Oneta married Clifford Jones Sr. and the couple made their home in Coffeyville, Kansas. The couple later divorced. Oneta worked at Krogers, Jolly Kids and then the ACME Foundry where she retired. She was a member of the Seventh Day Adventist and the American Legion.

Survivors include one daughter Dana Smtih and husband Leroy of Wann, Oklahoma; one sister Lauretta Armstrong of Coffeyville, Kansas; four grandchildren Bridget Forerester, Justin Carriker, Amanda Yeubanks and Vince Jones; 10 great grandchildren and 3 great great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by three sons Clifford Jones Jr., Phillip Jones, Bruce Jones, one daughter Linda Caldwell.
