Pansy Mounts

Pansy L. Mounts 1921-2005 Pansy L. Mounts, age 83, Coffeyville, Kansas resident passed away on January 25, 2005 in the Oxford Unit of Windsor Place in Coffeyville. Mrs. Mounts was born May 5, 1921, in Tahlequah, Oklahoma to Green B. Robbins and Tilda Josephine Johnson. On November 21, 1938, she married AlvaSonny James Mounts. Pansy retired from ACC, of Independence, in 1985 after 25 years of service. She was a wonderful wife, mother, grandma, great-grandma and cook extraordinair. She and her blackberry cobbler will be sorely missed. She is a member of the First Baptist Church. She also enjoyed delivering Meals on Wheels with her husband. Survivors include: 2 Daughters: Janice Wright of Coffeyville. Sue Farris of Broken Arrow, Oklahoma. 3 Grandchildren: Jim Wright of Coffeyville. Cindy Fenske of Republic, Missouri. Jason Thompson of Broken Arrow, Oklahoma. 6 Great Grandchildren: Skylar Wright, Taylor Wright, Hunter Wright, Korby Fenske, AJ Fenske, Jordan Thompson. She was preceded in death by her husband Alva J.Sonny; sister, Mary Abshire; brothers, TiffordToad Robbins and Oakley Robbins. Calling time will be from 1:00 P.M. to 8:00 P.M., Thursday, January 27, 2005 at the Penwell-Gabel Ford-Wulf- Bruns Chapel in Coffeyville. Funeral Services will be held at 10:30 A.M., Friday, January 28, 2005 at the Penwell-Gabel Ford-Wulf-Bruns Chapel in Coffeyville. Dr. Wayne Norton will be officiating. Interment will follow at the Penwell-Gabel Restlawn Memorial Park Cemetery.
