Patricia Gunderson

Patricia Pat Johnson Gunderson, 74, of Coffeyville, Kansas passed away Sunday, June 16, 2013 at Windsor Place in Coffeyville, Kansas.
Pat was born on August 25, 1938 in Coffeyville, Kansas to O.B. and Ruth Morrow Johnson. She grew up in Coffeyville where she graduated high school in 1956. She lived and traveled all over the U.S. During the time she lived in Texas she worked at South Western Bell as an operator and also at a law firm as a secretary. When she returned to Coffeyville in 1972 she worked for Junges Bakery then for Medicalodge as a CMA.

Pat was known to some as Gabby because she loved to visit with people. She enjoyed playing cards and bingo. Pat collected jewelry and stuffed animals. Most of all she loved spending quality time with her family and friends.

Surviving to honor her memory is her son Brian Coldren of Houston, Texas daughters, Chris Hilderbrand and husband, Clint of Edna, Kansas, Kim Price of Edna, Kansas, Melissa Byrd and husband, Brad Sr. of Parsons, Kansas grandchildren, Justin, Keri, Jonathan, Sarah, Sabrina, Bradley Jr., Tawni and Kayliegh, eleven greatgrandchildren her mother, Ruth Johnson of Coffeyville, Kansas, and a brother, Ron Johnson of Coffeyville, Kansas.

A Memorial Service will be held on Friday, June 21, 2013 at 10:00 a.m. at FordWulfBruns Chapel in Coffeyville, Kansas. Friends may call on Thursday, June 20, 2013 from 10:00 a.m. until 8:00 p.m. at the funeral home to sign the guest register. Family will greet friends Thursday evening at the funeral home from 6:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m.
