Phyllis Marie Sisco, 68, of Coffeyville, Kansas passed away on Sunday, February 16, 2014 at her home.

Phyllis was born on April 12, 1945 in South Coffeyville, Oklahoma to Edgar and Merriam Shamblin Smith. She grew up in Coffeyville where she attended local schools. On July 29, 1979 she was united in marriage to Henry Sisco in Bartlesville, Oklahoma. The couple made their home in Coffeyville. Henry preceded her in death on August 19, 2007.

Phyllis was a full time homemaker. She loved raising and taking care of her family. She enjoyed knitting, crafts, painting and drawing. Most of all she loved the time she spent with her family, she was always surrounded by a house full of people and wouldnt have had it any other way. She enjoyed the many cookouts and family gatherings that brought everyone together.

Surviving to honor her memory is her mother, Merriam A. Smith of Coffeyville sons, Waymond North and wife, Angie of Coffeyville, Kansas, Shane George and wife, Kelli of Coffeyville, Kansas stepson Albert Sisco and wife, Wendy of Lenapah, Oklahoma seventeen grandchildren numerous greatgrandchildren brothers, Junior, Eldon, Everitt, Ivan and Ronnie Smith and a sister, Sharon Yeubanks.

In addition to her husband Henry, she was also preceded in death by her father, Edgar sons, Larry Thomas and Victor Purkey stepdaughter, Karen Sisco a granddaughter, Angelica Shayne Purkey and by one greatgrandchild.

A Memorial Service will be held on Saturday, March 1, 2014 at 10:00 a.m. at FordWulfBruns Chapel in Coffeyville, Kansas. Chaplain Mike Graham will officiate. The family suggests memorial contributions can be made to Harry Hynes Memorial Hospice these may be left with the funeral home.
