Robert Culbertson

Robert Edward Culbertson Age 69, of Coffeyville, Kansas died Friday afternoon, January 28, 2005 at his home. Mr. Culbertson was born October 30, 1935 in Pomona, Missouri to John Washington and Bertha Ann Eubank Culbertson. Coming from McPherson, Kansas, he had been a resident of Coffeyville for 40 years. A retiree of Acme Foundry in 1997, he had also worked for Halliburton and Pepsi Cola, in Coffeyville; and McPherson County Road Department. Mr. Culbertson was an associate member of the American Legion and liked to fish and hunt. He is survived by: one son, Tommy Culbertson, of Wichita, KS one daughter, Teresa Balsters, of Wichita, KS two stepsons, Jimmy Decker, of Coffeyville, KS Rick Campbell, of Wichita, KS three brothers, George Culbertson, of Port Allen, LA Andy Culbertson, of Mount Vernon, MO Johnnie Culbertston, of Waynesville, MO four sisters, Marie Crouch, of Mountain View, MO Ella Bryan, of Willow Springs, MO Emma Havens, Waynesville, MO Mary Lou Malliny, of Millsboro, DE four grandchildren; four step grandchildren. Mr. Culbertson is preceded in death by his parents; one son; one brother; one sister. Cremation has taken place. A memorial service will be held 1 p.m., Wednesday, February 2 at the American Legion in Coffeyville. Burial of the ashes will be at the Spring Hill Cemetery, northwest of Coffeyville at a later date. Memorials may be given to the Robert Culbertson memorial fund in care of the funeral home. Arrangements are being handled by Penwell-Gabel Ford-Wulf-Bruns Chapel, Coffeyville, Kansas.
