Sherri Woolfolk

Sherri Lynn (Peyton) Woolfolk entered her eternal resting place on December 30, 2017 at her home in rural Edna, Kansas.

Sherri was born on January 15, 1971 in Coffeyville, Kansas to Jerry and Clarissa "Chris" Peyton. Sherri attended school in Coffeyville graduating from Field Kindley High School in 1989. Despite the cold and icy weather on March 24th, 1990, Sherri married the love her of her life, Brian Woolfolk. Together they have made their home in the Coffeyville and rural Edna area where they raised their two daughters, Chelsea and Kaitlynn.

Sherri loved being a nurse obtaining her Bachelors in nursing from Pittsburg State University. Due to failing health Sherri wasn't able to continue to practice nursing but shared her passion with others including her daughter, Chelsea. Being a dedicated wife, mother, daughter, grandmother and friend was important to Sherri, she was a protector to those she loved and very proud of her family. Sherri and Brian were always involved with their daughters in every activity they were a part of, offering encouragement and support. Sherri enjoyed arts and crafts, concerts, cruises and the visiting the area casinos. Being a Grandma was Sherri's new found love, her granddaughter, Emerson, she was the apple of her eye. Just a few short weeks ago she found out that Emerson would be a big sister; a new grandchild would be arriving.

Chelsea and Kaitlynn could always count on Mom being there, she was predictable with routine phone calls, text messages and encouragement. If Sherri were here today and could share one more thing with her girls she would encourage them to always Love their Babies, both present and future.

Sherri's legacy will live on through her husband Brian of the home; daughters, Chelsea Woolfolk and boyfriend, John Gates of Coffeyville, Kansas, Kaitlynn and husband Brendan Finley of Pittsburg, Kansas; father, Jerry Peyton and wife Diane of Coffeyville, Kansas; brother, Tony Peyton and wife Vicki of Gardner, Kansas; sister, Kristi Miller of Valrico, Florida; grandchildren, Emerson and one on the way; father-in-law, Roy Woolfolk; brother and sister-in-laws, Darrin Woolfolk and his wife Deana of Edna, Scott Woolfolk and his wife Madonna of Wann, Oklahoma, Mark and Tracy Woolfolk of Edna, Kansas numerous nieces, nephews and friends.

Sherri is now resting with her mother, Clarissa "Chris" Peyton, grandparents, most resent Grandma Blanton, mother-in-law, Kathy Woolfolk, brother-in-law, Christopher Miller.
