Thomas Morris

Thomas L. Morris was born in Coffeyville, Kansas on January 26, 1952 and passed away on March 25, 2018 at the age of 66 at his home in Edna, Kansas.

Thomas was the son of Gene and Willie Morris. He grew up in Coffeyville, Kansas attending local schools and graduating from Field Kindley in May of 1970. He served active duty in the U.S. Navy where he achieved his honorable discharge. He graduated from Coffeyville Community College in May 1978 with an Associate's Degree.

Thomas is survived by his four children, Andre and his wife Nina of Parsons, Kansas, Alysia Weil and her husband David of Edna, Kansas, Aaron and his wife Megan of Cherokee, Kansas, and Allen of Pittsburg, Kansas. He is also survived by 11 grandchildren; siblings, Teresa Weixelman, Rhonda Schley and Gary Morris all of Wamego.

His parents and 1 sister and 2 brothers preceded him in death.

Graveside funeral services will be held on Thursday, March 29, 2018 at Fairview Cemetery at the Veterans Memorial Patio in Coffeyville, Kansas at 2 pm, services are under the direction of Ford-Wulf-Bruns Chapel. The family has suggested memorial contributions be made payable to American Legion Post 20 of Coffeyville. Contributions may be left with the chapel.
