Tronta Jean Neal, known as “Cricket” to her family, went to be with Jesus on Saturday, September 30th, 2023 at the age of 61.

Cricket was born in 1962 to Tommy and Jeannie Guinn.  She grew up in Coffeyville, Ks and graduated from Field Kindley High School. She worked several jobs, but her favorite job was working as a florist and arranging flowers. She was the biggest KC Chief’s fan ever!

Cricket met her soulmate, Kevin Trotter in 2017, and they made their home in Coffeyville.  They had several pets, including her beloved Max.   

Cricket is survived by her father Tommy Guinn, her only child Stephen Sykes, his wife Kara, and their two children.  Cricket loved and cherished her two beautiful grandchildren, Brooke and Timothy. 

Cricket was the “big sister” of Shelley (Diediker) of Wichita, Ks, Lisa (Guinn) of Tulsa,Ok, and Susie (Guinn) of Coffeyville. Other surviving family members are a brother-in-law Tom Jorsch of Tulsa, Ok, two nephews, JD Guinn of Ponca City, Ok, Cooper Diediker, of Ark City, Ks, a niece Devan McGrew, of Ark City, Ks, a great nephew and a great niece. Cricket also has many cousins and her Aunt Judy. She was preceded in death by her mother.

Cricket had the biggest smile, and she could light up a room!  She will be missed greatly. 

Ford-Wulf-Bruns Chapel has been in trusted with arrangements. A graveside service will be held Saturday, October 14th at 12:00 at the Bluejacket Cemetery, 15711 S. 4460 Rd., Bluejacket, OK 74333.  The family has requested that Memorial Contributions be made to Children’s Mercy Hospital in Kansas City and contributions may be made in care of Ford-Wulf-Bruns Chapel, 2405 Woodland Ave., Coffeyville, Kansas.
