Virginia Belle Kindrick, 92, of Havana, Kansas passed away Monday, November 4, 2013 at her home.

Virginia was born on April 1, 1921 in Vinita, Oklahoma to John Augustus and Virginia Elizabeth Lamb Reiter. She grew up in the Coffeyville area where she received her high school education. She went on to further her education at a junior college.

On August 3, 1940 she was united in marriage to the love of her life, Robert Henry Kindrick. She spent her time as a homemaker. She was active with her children as a Boy Scout and Girl Scout Leader. She was a lifetime member of the First Presbyterian Church in Coffeyville where she served as a Deaconess. She was also a member of the VFW Womens Auxiliary and the Royal Neighbors. She enjoyed flowers and making floral arrangements. She will be remembered by her family as being a wonderful cook.

Surviving to honor her memory is her son, Bob Kindrick and wife, Connie of Havana, Kansas daughter, Miriam E. Switzer of Placentia, California brother, John A. Reiter, Jr. of Fountain City, Wisconsin sister, Ruth Ann Greenwood of Temecula, California grandchildren, Sara E. Nelson, Amy M. Switzer, Virginia K. Kindrick great grandchildren, Aaron M. Nelson, Caleb R. Nelson and Hannah E. Nelson.

She was preceded in death by her parents, John and Virginia and her loving husband, Robert.

Graveside Services will be held on Friday, November 8, 2013 at 1:00 p.m. at Restlawn Memorial Park Cemetery. Chaplain Mike Graham will officiate. Arrangements are being handled by FordWulfBruns Chapel in Coffeyville, Kansas.
