Virginia Sue Price age 77, of Coffeyville, passed away on May 16, 2016 at Montgomery Place in Independence.

Virginia was born in Coffeyville on February 19, 1939 to Floyd Arvel and Virgie Lois (Frye) Yeubanks. She attended school in Coffeyville, after school she was introduced to David Paul Price and the couple was united in marriage on August 12, 1955. To this union they were blessed with 3 sons and a daughter. Virginia attended the Nazarene Church where she served as a bible school teacher. She worked for Windsor Place as a dietary aide for over 30 years; she loved watching the Chicago Cubs, and reading. Virginia dedicated her life to her children and later in life her grandchildren and great-grandchildren always enjoying their sporting events as well. Everyone that met Virginia knew what a loyal and protective friend she was. Most of all she was the matriarch, a very devoted wife, a loving mother, and the best Granny.

Left to honor her memory are her sons; Michael Price, Paul Price, Roger Price, daughter; Pamela Lane and husband Randy, brothers; Ronald Yeubanks and George Yeubanks, sister; Gloria Kuehn, grandchildren; Chris Myers, Kelly Myers, Cole Price, Heather Price, Joshua Price, Mike Prather, Cody Prather, Chantale Price, Shelby Enloe, Kelsi Price, and 11 great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, David, 5 brothers, and 4 sisters.

Cremation will take place under the direction of Ford-Wulf-Bruns Chapel and the family will be honoring her memory with a memorial service held on Saturday May 21, 2016 at 10:00am at the Chapel. Friends are invited to sign the register on Friday May 20, 2016 from 9:00am to 5:00pm. The family suggests memorials to the American Cancer Society.
