William Beeson

William "Bill" Darrell Beeson, age 60 of Tulsa, OK, passed away on September 8, 2016 at Hillcrest Medical Center.

Bill was born June 19, 1956 in Coffeyville to Darrell and Kathryn (Hayden) Beeson. He was raised in Coffeyville where he attended school. After high school Bill made his home in Tulsa. Bill loved camping, biking, movies, family trips to Colorado, and fishing. He found fishing to be peaceful and most of all loved when he would out fish everybody else. Bill loved volunteering at various church food pantries in Tulsa - helping those in need. Paying forward those times he was helped by others.

Bill was very mechanically inclined and adventurous, he once built a raft and floated it down the Verdigris River " Huckelberry Finn" style! Bill was loving and kind and had a great sense of humor. Everyone that was lucky enough to meet him loved him for his kindness and his ability to make anyone laugh! He will be greatly missed by so many people that were fortunate to have spent time with him.

Left to honor his memory are his father Darrell Beeson of Windsor Place in Coffeyville, brother Jim Beeson, his wife Amy Bigbee of Albuquerque and son Joey Smallwood (wife Estelle), daughter Claire Smallwood. Sisters, Beth Beeson-Wilkins, her husband FD Wilkins of Boulder, CO, Beth's son Blake Beeson Shipley and wife Terrie and son Ty of Tulsa. Sister Janis Beeson, her husband Len Norwitz and daughter Lily Meng Beeson- Norwitz of Portland, OR. Bill loved his brother and sisters and their spouses very much and appreciated their support of him throughout his life.

Bill's famly would like to thank Bill's best friend, Jerry Moody, of Tulsa. Jerry was Bill's pillar - Jerry was always there to help Bill in his time of need. ( Jerry, when you get married Bill will still be there to dance at your wedding!)

Bill's family would also like to thank Mack Haltom of Tulsa Day Center for loving and appreciating Bill for who he was and helping him in his time of need, forever and beyond.

Bill had a very special relationship with his cousin Nancy Fuller and her husband Rod of Denver. He loved his time spent with them and the fishing trips with Rod.

Bill also loved his other cousins Dianne Hines (Houston), Linda Hope (Dallas), Phil Ehart (Atlanta), Steve Ehart (Washington D.C.) Russ Lewark (Los Angeles), Mike Beeson (Peteluma, CA) , Jennifer Beeson (Boulder), Mike Newton (Denver), Claudia Hayden (Long Beach), and Nicholas Hayden (Oregon). He was preceded in death by his mother, Kathryn Beeson, whom he loved very much.
