William Donald Morrow 1912- 2005 William Donald Morrow, age 92, of Edna, Kansas, died early Friday morning, January 28, 2005 at the Coffeyville Regional Medical Center in Coffeyville, Kansas. He was born May 29, 1912 in the Snow Creek area, Nowata County, Oklahoma to Abraham Morrow and Bertha Figgins. Don married Vesta Lena Cranor on November 18, 1933 in Fredonia, Kansas. She preceded him in death. They made their home in rural Edna, Kansas where they dairy farmed and raised livestock. Everyone who knew Don knew that his two favorite things to talk about were his grandchildren and his love for horses. He was a member of the A.Q.H.A. for 60 years. Survivors include: 1 Daughter: Carmaletta Bozman of rural Edna. 1 Sister: Nellie Jones of South Edna. 7 Grandchildren: Rowel Goodwin, Jud Goodwin, Yulondia Goodwin Wood, Rocky Morgan, Rusty Morgan, Mitzi Maxson and Dusty Rutherford. 12 Great Grandchildren. 2 Great-Great Grandchildren. Don was preceded in death by a daughter, Nola Mae Rutherford and a granddaughter, Echo Morgan. Calling time will be Sunday, January 30, 2005, from 1-8 P.M., at the Penwell-Gabel Ford-Wulf-Bruns Chapel in Coffeyville, Kansas. Graveside Services will be Monday, January 31, 2005 at 2:00 P.M., at the North Edna Cemetery in rural Edna, Kansas. Grandsons, Rowel Goodwin, Jud Goodwin and Dusty Rutherford will be officiating. Memorials may be given to the Edna Library co Penwell-Gabel Ford-Wulf-Bruns Chapel. Messages may left with the family at www.penwellgabel.com Funeral arrangements are being handled by the Penwell-Gabel Ford-Wulf-Bruns Chapel in Coffeyville.
