Bobbie Imoe of Coffeyville, Kansas died October 30th, 2020 surrounded by loved ones at Coffeyville Regional Medical Center at the age of 93.
Bobbie Born December 30, 1927 to James David Imoe and Nellie Florence Hoover in Ashland, OK. Bob married Irene Odom and had one son Murlan in 1948. Irene passed in 1982. Bob retired from the State of Alaska as a Mechanic and later married Shirley (Thurman) Joseph in 1986 in Paris, TX. Bob and Shirley enjoyed camping, boating, fishing, traveling, and enjoying life at the casinos. Bob and Shirley were the caretakers at Shell Lake in Sand Springs, OK and Havana Lake when they weren’t traveling. They later retired to Coffeyville, KS.
Bob’s memories will live on and hold a special place in all our hearts with all the stories he would tell. These memories will be carried by Shirley’s son David Joseph and his wife Laura, his sister Dorthy, his grandchildren Lori, Steven, Nicole, step grandsons, Matthew and Brandon; 9 great-grandchildren; 4 great great-grandchildren.
He was laid to rest by his second wife Shirley, also at rest are his mother and father, James and Nellie, first wife Irene, son Murlan, brothers Milton, Floyd, Lawrence, Richard, James, Rudolph.
Graveside service was held November 4th, 2020 at Floral Haven Cemetery in Broken Arrow,
