Clinton Devon Burnett, 41 of Coffeyville, Kansas passed away at Coffeyville Regional Medical Center on Sunday, December 25, 2022, after battling a long illness.

Clinton was born on July 19, 1981, to Carmen La Rayne Burnett and Johnny Ausler.  He began his education at Whittier Elementary School in Coffeyville and graduated from Field Kindley Memorial High School in 2000.  He attended Colby Community College in Colby, Kansas, where his focus was on radio broadcasting.  As a teenager Clint invested a great deal of his time into sports.  He was a natural athlete and loved to play basketball, but his biggest passion was running track and field.

Clint developed an early interest in employment securing his first job in 1997.  Clint dedicated several years of his employment in home healthcare until mid-2022.

Clint was a proud father and loved his children deeply.  He was also an amazing uncle to his nieces and nephews. He was a big movie buff, he looked forward to the newest release and had a broad interest in movies.  Clint was known to watch a movie several times and was able to recall one liners from lots of movies.

Clint is survived by his children, Mya J. Burnett, Jadia N. Burnett, Izanea L. Davis; father Johnny Ausler; brothers Ramon Burnett and wife Vanessa, Antonio Burnett, William BJ Kendall; grandmother Ethel Colbert; 19 nieces and nephews; aunts, uncles and friends.   He is proceeded in death by his mom Carmen La Rayne Burnett and nephew Markell Burnett.

Memorial service will be held on Friday, January 6, 2023, at 1pm at Ford-Wulf-Bruns Chapel, 2405 Woodland Ave., Coffeyville, Kansas.  Clint will be laid to rest by his mother in Fairview Cemetery. Services will be streamed live under his obituary page at www.fordwulfbrunschapel.com where you may also leave an online condolence or share a memory with the family.
