Dolores “Dee” Arlene Critchfield, formerly of Coffeyville passed away at the age of 90 on Monday, September 21st at Woodland Hills Nursing Home in Jacksonville, Arkansas.

She was born March 20, 1930 to Mabel and Luther Tuttle in Cherryvale, Kansas.  She attended Cherryvale High School and graduated in 1948.  She worked for Sinclair Refining Company and Southwestern Bell Telephone in Independence and Spencer Dodge Plymouth Agency in Wichita.

On March 23, 1950 she married Earl Jean Critchfield in Cherryvale at her parents’ home.  Later she joined him where he was stationed in New Bern, North Carolina with the Marine Corp.  In March 1951 he received orders to go to Korea, so Dee returned home and lived with her parents.  The two lived in Salina, Kansas, Bakersfield, California, Santa Anna, California, and Wichita, Kansas.

Dee and Earl lived in Coffeyville most of their lives where she worked at Kanoma Co-op and the City of Coffeyville as Municipal Court Clerk.  She also worked part-time for Penwell Gabel  Ford-Wulf-Bruns Chapel for six years.

She belonged to the First Baptist Church, Daughter of Nile, Azrim Temple, was Den Mother for cub scouts and brownies and Salvation Army helping with the blood mobile.

She is survived by a son, Larry Critchfield of Lead Hill, Arkansas, two daughters, Mary Fogel (husband Dan) of Terrell, Texas and Cathy Boston (husband Ed) of Cabot, Arkansas.  She has two sisters, Phyllis Barrett of Rogers, Arkansas and Sharon Menick of Pearcy, Arkansas.

She is also survived by six grand kids, Brandon, Robin, Poppi, Erica, Brian and John, along with12 great grand kids, Chris, Cydnee, Makayla, Bret, Chloee, Ali, Rylin, Zoe, Noah, Ethan, Jaida and Clark.

Memorial service will be held at the First Baptist Church, 9th & Elm in Coffeyville on Friday, October 2nd at 4:00 p.m.  A Private Inurnment will follow at Restlawn Memorial Park Cemetery.  For the protection of the family and their guest facial mask are requested.  The family has requested memorial contributions be made payable to First Baptist Church.  To leave a message of condolence visit www.fordwulfburnschapel.com
